Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy is provided by Ryme, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company doing business as BeBa ("BeBa", "We", "Us", "Our"), and applies to "consumer health data" as defined under applicable consumer health data privacy laws, including the Washington My Health My Data Act and Nevada SB 370. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. Categories of Consumer Health Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of consumer health data:

  • Dietary and nutrition information about your child, including food and beverage logs you enter, nutrition scores and trends the App generates from those logs, and information about food allergies, intolerances, or dietary restrictions that you choose to provide;

  • Child profile details necessary to contextualize nutrition information, such as your child's age or date of birth;

  • Inferences derived from the above, such as nutrient coverage estimates and dietary pattern insights.

2. Purposes for Which We Collect and Use Consumer Health Data

We collect and use consumer health data to:

  • Provide the App's features you request, including parsing your food log entries, generating daily nutrition scores, and displaying weekly trends and insights;

  • Personalize the App's content for your child;

  • Improve the accuracy and quality of the App's nutrition analysis, using aggregated or de-identified data wherever possible;

  • Maintain the security of the App and comply with legal obligations.

We collect consumer health data directly from you when you enter it into the App. We do not collect consumer health data from other sources, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Categories of Consumer Health Data We Share

We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share consumer health data with third parties for their own purposes. We disclose consumer health data only to service providers that process it on our behalf under binding contracts, for the purposes described above:

  • Cloud hosting and database providers (such as Google Firebase), to store your data;

  • AI service providers (such as OpenAI and Anthropic), to parse the food descriptions you enter into structured nutrition data.

We may also disclose consumer health data when required by law or legal process.

4. Affiliates

Ryme, LLC does not share consumer health data with any affiliates.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we are collecting, sharing, or selling your consumer health data and access that data, including a list of the third parties with whom we have shared it;

  • Withdraw your consent to our collection and sharing of your consumer health data;

  • Have your consumer health data deleted.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at help@heybeba.com with "Consumer Health Data Request" in the subject line. We will verify your request, typically by confirming control of the email address associated with your account, and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may also delete your data at any time by deleting your account within the App.

If we decline to take action on your request, you may appeal by replying to our response with "Appeal" in the subject line. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Attorney General of your state.
